Referring Yourself

Making that first phonecall is one of the hardest things to do - it is easy to put off a promise to yourself and others that your abusive behaviour will never happen again. However, the likelihood is that you will continue to be abusive towards your partner unless you get help.

You need to have a commitment to creating better relationships and to ending abusive behaviour. You will need to take a good look at yourself, be prepared to do things differently and accept responsibility for your behaviour. Changing your behaviour can be a difficult and challenging process but you will be supported all the way by our specialist staff.

The first step is to call us and we will then arrange to book an appointment to attend an assessment session which will explain how the centre works, explore what is happening in your relationship and your goals for change.

Together with the centre staff we will decide if the Jenkins Centre is right for you.

How do I refer myself?

You can call us on 0116 254 0101 or email us at alternatively you can download and complete our self-referral form and send it back via email at or by post to:

PO Box 7675,
Once we have had contact from you we will then arrange an assessment.
